Kaia is seen training some of the Syndicate women in hand-to-hand combat the morning after the big party.
Kaia is battered by powerful emotions and haunted by visions of Sadar following the battle and his death. Her inner turmoil and darkness are assuaged by an old letter found in Sadar's coat and delivered to her, in which he explains himself and asks her to do her best to go on without him. As devastated as she is, she resolves to deal with her grief and move on as her final gift to the man she loved.
