Sadar has breakfast with Emiri in which she questions him on his character and reason for abandoning the Syndicate.
Sadar is confronted by Samson and asks him again to join the Order of Glass. Samson is still upset with him for abandoning the Syndicate during the mass arrests, and Sadar explains Glass' policy of "No connections, no regrets." Samson angrily rejects their philosophy and returns his glass cross to Sadar, who is sorry that they have to part on such bad terms.
Sadar is decidedly badass in this chapter; he jumps in and saves Samson's life in a battle with the leader-turned-traitor Landon Blaken.
With Kaia in tow, Sadar informs Samson about the disbandement of the Order of Glass. However, the young man convinces the priest to reform the Order and join forces with the Syndicate.

Sadar appears before Chief Q and her group, informing them about the possibility that the Order of Iron may have surived the zeppelin bombing.
Chapter 38: Take It Or Leave It
The priest informs the police chief about Ozzal's dastardly scheme - including the impending Comedian invasion a few weeks away. Later, he finds the critically injured Emiri and Kira.
Sadar joins the party at the Syndicate bunker late, and enjoys observing his comrades doing their things. He brings Samson and Clarice news that Ozzal has recalled her troops from Rantonia. The next morning he has a chat with Straight Cougar, who is amused to find that Sadar knows even more than he does.
Kaia is devastated after Sadar's death and haunted by memories of him. Urahara finds an old letter addressed to Kaia in Sadar's coat pocket and delivers it to her. In it, Sadar explains his feelings and motivations to her and assures her that he was only doing what he thought was right and that he never wanted to hurt her. He asks her to go on living as best as she can without him, and she resolves to honor his request.
