Some kid goes around wailing on people with a baseball bat, causing Tokyo to blow up and this really cute detective guy to go kind of crazy. We learn that you shouldn't let kids have pets, and sex is always better when you're surrounded by action figures in skimpy outfits. A truly masterful work by visionary Satoshi Kon, chock-full of insight into the human psyche and society's fixation on reeeally creepy stuffed animals.
