After the efforts to make the moons of Mars livable with arcology housings proved expensive and ineffective, the major powers instead funnelled their efforts into establishing bases on Titan from which to mine the other moons, and conduct research outside of Terrestrial borders.

• Triton - too cold to be habitable, Triton is mined by the various powers for its mineral wealth.
