In 1972 the Germans constructed a Moon Base on Luna.
in 1990 the Germans launched a Mars explorer from the Moon, and established a Mars base in 1997.
In 2006, under the Treaty of Voskhod, Grossdeutschland and the USSR agreed to co-operate on the terraforming of Mars. THey commenced the plan in 2011, and it was completed in 2023.

In 2149 they sent a small FTL ship to New Iowa in the Griffin system.
In 2151 they sent an FTL colony ship, the Seevogel to the Chimera System, hoping to colonise what was to become New Ukraine. This ship was suprised by the presence of the Alexander Nevsky, a Russian FTL gunship that the USSR had sent to claim the planet. The engagement was a disaster for the Germans, and the Seevogel limped to the second habitable planet in the system, which was to become New Rhineland.
In 2151, the Battle of New Ukraine cemented the status quo in the Chimera system.

Reich Chancellor Albrecht Goss - Having been elected to power by the Reichstag in 2295, he is considered a moderate by the more hardline SS faction, but rules through popular support of the rest of Grossdeutschland's population. He has recently began re-opening lines of communication with The Second British Empire, drawing on their close histories with some success.

Reichsfuhrer-SS Jurgen MÖRDER - The current leader of the SS is one of the first true Ubermench 1 line of genetically superior SS soldiers bred on the Wissenschaftschiff-SS Mengele to carry on the ideal of the Master Race. The Nazis cracked the double helix in 2190 and immediately began serious work on engineering a true Master Race. The initial results were disastrous and were known as Berserkers (little is known about this as the records are sealed under the Offical Reich Secrets Act until 2500). Jurgen Morder is a near giant of a man, measuring 6'7" and weighing nearly 300lbs (all muscle). His ice blue eyes and near white blonde, cropped hair only serve to accentuate his Aryan genetic stock. He has been in the position since 2273 when he took over from the previous Reichsfuhrer.
