Burdensome Books is the largest category to date on 667, and is moderated by dynamic duo Antenora and Dante. This is where we discuss, speculate, and theorize about the books.

Sardonic Series is first, with threads such as "Odd ASOUE Real-Life Coincidence Thread." This board has three sub-boards, Cheerless Characters, Perilous Places, and Weary Writer.

The Trouble Begins is next, named after the box set that contains the first three books. Discuss said books there.

The Situation Worsens then follows, the box set title for books four-six. Discuss those there.

The Dilemma Deepens comes next, for books seven-nine.

The Gloom Looms is fifth, it's for ten-twelve, all named after their box sets.

The End is next, creatively named after The End. There, people speculate about what the end of the series really meant, and beg Daniel Handler to ignore the ultimate message of the series and write a bunch of money-spinning tell-all epilogues.

Anguished Appendices comes last in Burdensome Books, for discussing spin-offs such as the Unauthorized Autobiography and The Beatrice Letters. It used to be just the Anguished Autobiography, but when The Beatrice Letters was confirmed, it was changed.

Depressing Diversion, a temporary section was added to the top of the section. It was moderated my Gigi and Songbird. The purpose of the section was to celebrate the coming of The End. We got rid of that a while ago.
