Welcome to 667 Dark Avenue's wiki. There are a variety of interesting and not-so-interesting pages here. So far, there are pages about staff members, a guide to each category and board, and biographies of 667's members. So take a look around, and learn more about this wonderful forum.

667 Dark Avenue is a forum that incorporates books, learning, debate, and friendly competition, for the most part. It has over 5,000 members, but only a handful ever post, and even fewer post here. We encourage you to join in and participate in the fun!

It is a forum for discussing ASOUE by Lemony Snicket, but has creativity sections, miscellaneous sections, and a game section. People there are much friendlier to new people than they used to be, honest, and they welcome contributing members and not "really cool members".

A Brief history of 667 Dark Avenue Forum

667 Dark Avenue Forum began it's life as The Lemony Snicket Informer on June 22nd, 2002. The site was created by current admin, Tragedy as an offshoot of the popular UE.net site started the previous year. The site was created in an effort to aid the ever-growing fanbase of the popular A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. It became a haven for the theories, however crazed, of dedicated fans, as well as fan-made ASOUE material including fan-fiction ,fan-art and fan-games. The site also offered it's users an area for socialization and boards for matters Non-Asoue related. It started with a limited fan-base in it's first year, but by July 2003 it had obtained 300 members and quickly grew, reaching 500 members by late September, and it's 667th on November 7th of that year. During that year the site also acquired members that became serious assets to the forum, obtaining heavy post counts, and a great deal of respect among other members. These members include Dupin ,Pandora , andGlobal Moderator Swans. By February 2004, 667 had achieved it's 1000th member, and the following April, it's 100,000th post in it's boards. The site grew rapidly from this point experiencing several moments of digress before hitting the hammer full speed once more, usually around the release of the next cronicle in the Snicket series. Members came and went with the forum's age, but by the end of 2005 the site had 5000 members at it's disposal, quickly making itself into a tough adversary for rival forum Unfortunate Events.com. The future of 667 now that the release of the final book book in the ASOUE series has passed is unclear, but it is certain the forum will remain one of the greatest areas for the Snicket-dedicated on the World Wide Web.
