Total states = 9!/3! = 60480 States where player X has 3 in a row = 8*3! * 6!/3! = 8*6! = 5760 States where both players have 3 in a row = 6*3! * 2*3! = 432 States where player X has 3 in a row and player Y does not = 5760-432 = 5328 States where player Y has 3 in a row and player X does not = 5328 Total states where one or two players have 3 in a row = 5328+5328+432 = 11088
Total states where nobody has 3 in a row = 60480 - 11088 = 49392 = number of entries in brute.txt
