The second generation Rx-7 came available with a number of different brake system options.
- The S4 GTU, GTUs, GXL, Sport, and Turbo models came equipped with 4-pot front calipers and ventilated discs in front and back.
- SE and S5 GTU models came equipped with single caliper brakes and solid discs on all four corners. It should also be noted that the SE models were the only model offered with four lug hub carriers. Keep this in mind when purchase replacement discs for that model.
