4/22/08, the group met in the lab to begin working on this wiki.
The group decided that adding a vocabulary section would be in order.
The group decided that Mozilla Firefox would be the browser used to edit our page.
The group decided that some of the topics covered in the wiki will be vocab (as stated before), summary, and how the "Amusing Ourselves to Death" applies to the internet.

[edit] Alyse Lasley
maybe we should have a section on overarching themes and the way it applies to today.
[edit] Amber
I think we should have key facts like the title, author, etc. and a little about the author like Alyse was saying.
[edit] Will Koehler
Ok we need a picture of us on page, so we can top these other teams
[edit] Amber
I also think we can have quotes out of the book and words like a vocabulary that would give the reader a better understanding and help the reader along as he or she reads the book
I think we need to do something like alyse said and the introduction to the book gives a good example of wht we should do...?
[edit] Rachel
So I'm confused. Do we want a brief summary so that the reader can see what its like before reading the book? Or am I just completely missing the point?
[edit] Amber
Alyse.. I like your comment.. our page will definitely need that.
[edit] Will Koehler
I think that's the right idea Rachel, it definitely should be brief.
We need a nice explanation and introduction to the book like the one provided by Andrew Postman in the forward of the book.

Rachel.. Yea I think we need a summary but like a synapses over what the book is about.
We need a nice explanation and introduction to the book like the one provided by Neil Postman in the forward of the book.
[edit] Wilkins Mclaughlin

[edit] Alyse Lasley 2
I added the pics, do we want more?
[edit] Rachel
Can I not copy and paste something into the wiki? I finished my summary but I wrote it in word and I can't seem to get it to fit in the wiki.

My bad.. just making sure we are still meeting in the library at 9.. i will already be there at one of the tables so just come get me..

The biography looks great! I added the summary but if I left anything out just let me know and I will go back and add it. Also, is there any way we can put the summary up next to the picture of the book? It just looks so empty. I tried but couldn't understand how to fix it. See you all at 9!
