Feng Shui

From Wild World Wiki

Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space to attempt to achieve harmony with the environment. In Animal Crossing: Wild World it is a fairly simple method of improving your luck by placing it around your house.

Any item of furniture you own will have two defined colours. These are not the colours they appear as on you screen, but a pair of colours assigned by the game to represent the furniture. For example, the Pyramid is Yellow/Yellow. There are eleven colour sets in the game (yellow, brown, blue, colorful, gray, orange, pink, green, red, white, and black), but Feng Shui is only concerned with three- red, yellow, and green. The essentials of feng shui are placing items of these colours in the correct location in your house- yellow in the East, red in the West, and green in the South. However, these directions are defined as the two square wide strip (a square being the space held by one item on the floor), nearest the indicated wall.
