In an effort to ensure the game remained family-friendly when taken online, several words were censored in the text-talk mode.When censored, these words appear purely as spaces, rather than visible characters. It's not known if these words are also censored in mail or bulletin boards. Extending these words (for example "fucker" extended from "fuck") will render the filter inactive and display the whole typed word on your own screen, but the censored section will still be blanked out on anyone else's screen.
