This page will give you some basic editing help. Before editing or creating pages and whatnot, you do not have to sign in but it is recommended that you do.

Creating a Page

To create a page, go to the URL and type in the page name after editthis.info/wikislippy/ and hit enter. Once done click edit and then start making the page. When done, click save, and the page will be saved.

However, links that are red link to a page that does not exist. To create the page, click the red link. Once there, you can begin editing.

Editing a Page

Here is a list of useful tips:

Bold and Italics

  • To make text bold, put ''' before and after the words.

Example: '''bold text''' > bold text

  • To make italics, put '' before and after the words.

Example: ''italics'' > italics

  • To make text bold and italics, put ''''' before and after the words.

Example: '''''bold italics''''' > bold italics

Strike out and underline

  • To strike out text, put <strike> before and </strike> after the words.

Example: <strike>Strike out</strike> > Strike out

  • To underline text, put <u> before and </u> after the words.

Example: <u>underline</u> > underline

  • To make text bold and italics, put ''''' before and after the words.

Example: '''''bold italics''''' > bold italics

Links

  • To make a link, put [[ before and ]] after the words.

Example: [[link]] > link

  • To make a link, put [[ before the actual page name followed by | and then the text you want and ]] at the end.

Example: [[link|this is a link]] > this is a link

Headings and Subheadings

  • To create a heading, put == before and after the words.
  • To create a subheading, put === before and after the words.

Lists

  • To create a list, put * before each item.

Example: *item one *item two *item three

New Lines

  • To create

a new line, put <br/> after the line of words.

Example: This is a test
