'''Wikiearth''', '''Wikimaps''', [[Wikiearth:Naming|whatever]], is a wiki atlas. Pages of places should have maps of that place and links to places that are in that place (eg: countries in continent, cities in province/state). It is quite like the Wikimedia Commons Atlas, but is more organized but easier to use. The maps can come from Wikimedia Commons, Wikipedia, the CIA World Factbook, or any free source. Copyrighted work cannot be uploaded without permission.

This wiki project is a demo for the meta wiki proposal, Wikiearth. It is made to completly represent what the project would look like. (It was made called Wikiearth, now is called Wikiatlas, so the project page's prefix is still Wikiearth.)

Wikiatlas, Wikiearth, Wikimaps, whatever, is a wiki atlas.
