[edit] History
Guo Xiao Feng always got into trouble for one thing or another. In fact, if she were asked to state the one consistant thing throughout all her years, without hesitation, she would say that she'd always been a magnet for disaster.
...That is, whether she wanted it or not.
Xiao Feng's problems started at age seven, when her powers manifested at school. Fifty-seven eye witnesses saw her turn her desk into a machine gun. Things calmed when the gun was discovered to be wooden, just like the desk. And things started up again when it was also discovered that the gun could indeed, shoot tin bullets. Guo Xiao Feng was suspended for some time, much to her parent's annoyance.
Throughout the years that followed, Xiao Feng transferred from school to school, trying to grasp some control of her powers before they got her into trouble, or even worse, expelled. Because of her lack of success until she was well into her teens, she became somewhat infamous for a while, known as the 'Little Gunman' of Beijing.
When she was fifteen, her destiny was revealed to her by a strange old fortune teller in a travelling fair. Always having been interested by 'spooky weird things' such as fortune telling, and the old woman's knowledge of her powers, Xiao Feng believed her ('oh my god totally!'), and even today, takes her 'destiny' in stride, despite the weight it tries to force upon her shoulders. Her very pretty shoulders, mind you.
Xiao Feng is currently attending a boring old high school, and is quite proud that nothing disastrous has happened during her time there, aside one incident a couple of months ago involving a desk and a cannon.
Since the beginning of the end, she has:
blown up Great Wall of China (part of it-- the rest came down) with Fei Li on February 12th, 1999.
been involved in the destruction of the Summer Palace (following a picnic-- it's an Angel thing) on June 4th, 1999.
Xiao Feng died on October 7th, 1999 in a fight against Shi Rong at Wangfujing.
[edit] Personality
Xiao Feng is, well, cheerful. Perky, spirited, loud and reasonably friendly, she wouldn't seem the type to want to wipe out humanity, but her destiny has become part of her, and she's not the type to just let it go, because despite everything else that she might be, she's not content to be a liar.
When she's happy, she's extremely happy. When she's sad, she's extremely sad. Xiao Feng feels emotion very strongly, and can't stand it when people hide their own ones behind masks and facades and smiles, even though sometimes she's guilty of it, if only because of her pride.
While cheerful and bouncy for the most part, she's got a bit of a temper and a short fuse, and it tends to get set off very easily. She either yells and shouts and acts ridiculously comical, or she exaggerates her 'cheerfulness' in an almost maniacal way. She also doesn't hesitate to break things.
[edit] Powers
Capable of changing any solid substance or object into various forms of weaponry; guns, small explosives and knives, mostly.
[edit] Relationships
Fei Li, a fellow Angel and a classmate, friends though she does like to torment him from time to time.
Masahiro, a dreamseer who she YELLS AND SPARKLES AT but considers a friend.
Subaru, a Tokyo Seal who she flails and sparkles and spazzes at and sometimes wants to kick a little but cares about.
Syao Li, once a friend, fake Kamui, deceased.
Mao Shi, once a friend, Seal, deceased.
[edit] 20 Facts
1. The first thing Guo Xiao Feng does when she walks into the [empty, empty, empty] living room is say ‘good morning’ to the pictures hanging on the wall [pretty young ma-ma with a silly floppy hat on her head and a sunflower in her hair] [handsome young ba-ba with his perfect smile and his shining eyes] smiling as she pretends she hears their voices say the same thing when she turns her back on them.
2. When she’s alone in her room with her stuffed animals and glow-in-the-dark stickers [she and ma-ma had stuck them on her ceiling one afternoon] she turns off the light and curls up on her bed, turns on the TV and cries along with her favourite characters in her favourite drama. Sometimes she even sings along with the theme songs.
3. When her sister’s letters arrive in the mail the first thing she does is scoop up the pile of envelopes and hug them to her chest.
4. She then rips them up one by one [who cares who cares who cares] and the torn pieces of paper will forever sit at the bottom of her pink and white Hello Kitty waste paper basket.
5. Xiao Feng’s favourite colour is that nice, pretty colour between bright yellow and bright green. Sometimes she calls it lemongrass [ma-ma’s favourite dress was lemongrass yellow and marble white] and giggles at how pretty the English word sounds.
6. Her first boyfriend could sing her favourite song [wo ai ni, ai zhe ni, jiu xiang lao shu ai da mi] to her backwards and frontwards and anywards she wanted him to sing it. To this day, being able to do this is very high in her Expectations for Boyfriends list.
7. She has an Expectations for Boyfriends list.
8. Xiao Feng remembers she used to want to be a female General leading an imperial army when she was seven. Her helmet [she’d loved it so much when ba-ba brought it home that day] lies somewhere amongst dirty socks and filled up diaries underneath her bed, gathering dust.
9. Eleven year old Mei Fei Li had been her inspiration to become an Emperor.
10. Xiao Feng knew all the cool Emperors had concubines. Well, she wasn’t about to be left out! On her eleventh birthday, she danced around the schoolyard [in her bright red scarf that ma-ma had tied around her neck for her] and asked all of the boys if they wanted to be her concubines.
11. Only one of them said yes.
12. She thinks eighteen year old Mei Fei Li is the best concubine a girl could wish for.
13. Guo Xiao Feng was famous at her last highschool for catching a bunch of boys sneaking a peak into the girl’s changing rooms. Wearing nothing but a towel and a pair of sandals, she grabbed each of them by the ear and marched them out of the changing rooms, but not before having them apologise to the girls—“like gentlemen.”
14. Xiao Feng loves playing soccer [she wears ba-ba’s old soccer shirt for good luck] in the summer time. Mostly against boys.
15. She always wins.
16. Sometimes she slides around the [always empty] apartment in only her underwear and a pair of socks crooning love songs at the top of her voice to her mother’s hairbrush.
17. Despite wanting [wanting is such a strong word] to blow up humanity, Xiao Feng greatly disapproves of smoking. Not only for the damage it’s doing to the smoker, but the damage it’s doing to her, as well! She has to breathe the air too, you know.
18. Counterstrike is her guilty pleasure.
19. In her eyes, the combination of bells [ma-ma used to put bells in her hair when she was little] and sweatervests is pure artistic genius. Especially on a certain little pudgeball.
20. The last thing that Guo Xiao Feng does before she goes to bed is mumble ‘good night’ into the no longer empty [though it might as well be] living room. The two tired, jaded figures [pretty ma-ma’s lost her smile] [handsome ba-ba’s lost his charm] simply continue to drink their tea and don’t even pretend that they hear her as she slips into her room.
