W0CXX News: K3NT - 17/Nov/2009 Jerry Buchheit, who has tuned in remotely to W5ROK meetings in the past, is teaching an amateur radio study group: helping folks pass the General exam.
Jerry is teaching along with another member: Steve Sawyers (NAØIA). This is being done via the Cedar Valley Amateur Radio Club in Cedar Rapids.
K5SRT - 1/25/2010 When planning a meeting at the new 2010 meeting location you may need to consider and bring the following: 1) Leave the room the way its found or better. 2) PC/laptop with VGA output and any application that might be required for example power cables, speakers, VGA (male to male cable) to hook to projector. 3) You may need a chair to start and shut down projector before or after the meeting (be careful and let it cool down don't just shut off. 4) Analog phone (need to determine which jack to use it shows the number as 972-437-9360 with a white (use this one 9-437-9360) and orange jack (don't use this one) on IDF2-P1-03 v-2017. 5) PA MIC and cable. 6) Any supplies you may need (dry erase markers and eraser, snacks, hand outs, ...). We don't have supplies, nor a copier or printer. 7) Please realize while there is a RRGuest network and projector you will need a wireless card, vga cable and will not have building support for our meetings. If you have some particular needs or questions you should request those or test well in advance of the meeting time.
