Three into One
- Clotho - (The Maiden and Spinner) spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle.
- Lachesis - (The Mother and Sustainer) measured the thread of life with her rod.
- Atropos - (The Crone and Destroyer) was the cutter of the thread of life. She chose the manner of a person's death. When she cut the thread with "her abhorred shears", someone on Earth died.

They Are ALL Personality
- Cloey (Natalie Portman) is all youth and freshness. Bright, happy and youthful. The wisdom of things to come, however, is in her eyes.
- Khesis (Jennifer Connelly) is the mothering spirit. She keeps her sisters together and is a mediator of all. More serious than the other two, she likes things peaceful.
- Attie (Judi Dench) is the older woman, with few restrictions. She has her purpose and will fulfill it. The one you least want on your bad side as she ends things. Permanently.
All three are mischievous and deliberately confusing in their speech. Often, they speak in six word sentences.
