The Exalted year is quite different to our own, but also with some similarities:

There are 15 months in the year, giving 3 months to each element. The first month of each element is called Ascending (when that element is begining to take effect), the second month called Respledant (when the element is at its peak) and the last called Decending (when that element is weakening to give way to the next element).

The order of elemental seasons are as follows:

• Wood (Spring)
• Fire (Summer)
• Earth (Autumn)
• Air (Winter)
• Water (A 'wetseason' where winter ice melts)

Each month is made up of 28 days, each consisting of 7 day weeks.

At the end of Water Decending comes "Calibration" - a 5 day week when the Stars and Moon do not appear in the night sky.
