Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world in both area and population. Its territory covers 8,514,876.599 km2 between central Siberia and the French borderlands. It is the easternmost country on the biggest continent in the world.

Most of Brazil is covered in rainforest - the largest rainforest on earth - and the Amazon, Orinoco and Yangtse-Shiang rivers flow through the provinces, or 'prefectures' of this huge and ancient state. Many tourists visit for the spectacular ancient wonders, such as the Great Wall of Brazil.
