Lucy is a sadistic killer, wanting vengeance against most humans for her cruel treatment as a child. She is highly intelligent, able to outwit most people, and is mostly hateful and angry the rest of the time. He goal in life is to make a place for herself, where she will not be abused or used by humans any longer. To achieve this, she will kill anyone who stands in her way without a second thought. On the flip side, due to a head injury, Nyu is the split personality of Lucy. Childlike and innocent, she is unable to speak anything other than 'Nyu' and a very few simple words. She is carefree and inquisitive, and can't even use the vectors of her Diclonius heritage. Whenever Nyu is hit on the head or attacked violently, she switches to Nyu. After a certain amount of time, or if treated with love and compassion, Lucy will revert back to Nyu.
[edit] Powers and Abilities
Has four vectors, invisible arm-like appendages sprouting from her back. They are capable of passing through anything, smashing, grabbing, or cutting most materials. As Lucy she can use these vectors, and sense most other powers/people with an incresed 'sixth sense'. As Nyu, she has no powers, and won't even fight back or defend herself.

Lucy was abandoned by her parents, and sent to an institution for troubled children. Because of the horns on her head, and her apathetic view on life, most of the kids would bully her. The only companion she had at that time was a stray dog. Eventualy the kids discovered this dog, and beat it to death in front of her. This was the first time her Vectors were used, and she ripped apart the other kids, and escaped. Later, she was caught and held in a high security institution, where she was researched and experimented on. Due to outside interference, she mangaged to escape the facility, but was shot in the head with a large sniper rifle. The round hit the metal helmet she was wearing at the time, and knocked her unconcious into the ocean. She was found by Kouta and Yuka, two people walking on the beach. Nyu was first frightened by them and tried to run (ending up just falling down on the sand and crying). They decided to take her back to the house, and cared for her a while. Eventualy, the facility that Lucy had escaped from sent another Diclonius after her. Nana tracked down Lucy and fought with her. Eventualy, Lucy beat her, cutting and ripping of her arms and legs. Nana used her vectors to temporarily shut down Lucy's powers. Lucy managed to escape again, and after she passed out, awoke in a frozen landscape, another victim of the Flux gate.

Yorick - Roomate - Nyu likes him and his monkey, she enjoys playing with Ampersand, even if the feeling is not mutual. Lucy hates him, and the annoying beast. On her 'list to kill painfully'
Tamaki - Nyu really likes Tamaki, he gives great hugs, and is super friendly. Is also helping her learn new words. Lucy hasn't yet met him.
