Soul Swapping is the closest that Soloralism has to reincarnation. Soul swapping is the transfer of the Empathi Energy of a being from one place to another. There are two forms of soul swapping.

  • Rebirth: The soul is moved from one location to another, in which said soul is reborn into another being as a newborn.
  • Influence: The soul is moved from one location to another, in which said soul is merged with another soul in an already living being. This would result in a redistribution of the quintessences of the being, which would greatly influence the being's personality and sense of self. Influence Soul Swapping is the process in which Avatars are created, although the "soul" being transfered is a Pure Quintessence instead of an individual's soul.

Soul swapping does not require there to be a particular location for the soul to come from. The soul could come from a being that is already dead (whose soul would therefore be part of the Empathi Field), or a being that is already living. If the soul swap is in the latter case, the being in which it is being transported from would die; empathi energy cannot be created from thin air. Usually, there is a very significant reason as to why the soul swap would happen in the first place - it is very rare for any being other than the Gods to initiate and direct the soul swap, although the Time Distortionists have done it on occasion.
