A mysterious device that, despite only having one button, manages to create portals to many various worlds.

In Beyond Lunch

The flux is only capable of opening up the way between the Dimension of Reality and Another World. It runs on two D batteries, and can make 5 portals on one set of batteries. This isn't an issue in Beyond Lunch the game, obviously.

Everywhere else

It's an excuse to have BL slink appear in other worlds. It apparently malfunctions and opens a portal to the wrong dimension. It's also occasionally hinted that the unspecific world these stories take place in is in fact Another World itself.

Myriad Lands

The flux doesn't exist in this storyline. Slink is not the same person from the BL incarnation.
