Description
A void is an unnatural substance that has an assortment of beneficial properties. The substance is most commonly found in the Shadow Realm, but it can also be found floating in The Void and Level 70884175493152. Voidforms are believed to be created from this substance. Electron microscope scans and additional experiments show that it is not made of atoms. The substance can be a solid, liquid, or gas in different situations. The state of the substance has nothing to do with temperature - instead, it depends on the "activity" of the substance. The void is in some ways a living thing. In its solid form, it is dormant. If you shoot radiation at it, it might transform into its liquid or even its gas form. It responds to the thoughts of those around it, especially those touching it. It is possible to manipulate it with your thoughts, but this has been known to drastically decrease sanity. The best way to control it is to shoot patterns of radiation at it while having humans in the background. The humans are still required to help the void understand what the radiation patterns mean, but the humans are spared many of the effects of insanity because they are not doing the "direct" communication with their thoughts.
States
Solid Void: Completely black. It absorbs all light and yet it is always at room temperature. Staying close to the substance can cause a mild loss of sanity. Shooting it with radiation will slowly melt it. Touching it will also melt it
Liquid Void: Can be in a passive or active state. In its passive state, it appears as an unremarkable black liquid. In its active state, it will move around, shimmer in various colors, and form complex structures. It can even alter the laws of physics. Ingesting the liquid will cause the liquid to become even more volatile inside the subject's body, eventually entering its gaseous state and potentially turning them into a voidform.
Gaseous Void: Incredibly dangerous. Inhaling caused death. The laws of physics are constantly being altered around it. Very powerful anomalous artifacts have been found that can contain it. It is incredibly powerful if contained.
Powder Void: This appears to be a black, somewhat greyish powder form of the void, this powder can be used in some cases. As this powder is highly exploded if contacted with any source of heat, it was recommended to bring it with a dark object to store it. In each powder, there is a pocket dimension which is to store sources of light. However, if it's got with a liquid or electricity, it will begin to reflect the light that the pocket dimensions stored. This can also be used in advantages like when a Death Moths noticed you as Death Moths is attracted to them. Inhaling this powder will instantly cause severe fever, sneezing, and diarrhea; in extreme cases, death.
Uses
Manifestation There is a force in the backrooms that causes objects to spawn into existence. Very powerful individuals can manipulate this force. Void is a living substance that can manipulate this force in the same way that powerful individuals can. By shooting radiation at it, it is possible to "tell" it to manifest something into existence. A human being must be in proximity to the void so that the void can use the humans thoughts in combination with the radiation to figure out what to manifest.
