World's Dumbest Criminals is a television show on truTV. The premise is that police videos are shown while commentators make fun of the hapless criminals. I had high hopes, but they went down in flames.

The commentators suck, to put it simply. They either whine about how stupid the video subject is, make unfunny jokes, or do an imitation of the criminal. Either way, it'll probably be a bomb. One comedian speaks in a southern accent, making him very difficult to hear. Whenever I do hear him, however, he isn't funny. Another comedian, a woman, usually just falls back on an age old effot: saying "f**k."

Furthermore, I see no need to make fun of the criminals. They're dumb, and funny on their own. The comedians shouldn't beat a dead horse.

So, in conclusion, don't listen to truTV when they call the show "criminally funny." They're only criminally annoying.
