Physical Description
Short, slightly scottish and somewhat enigmatic. He has been seen wearing a silly question-mark jumper paired with either a brown or cream-colored jacket and a red question-mark-handled umbrella. He is rarely seen without a beat-up panama hat covering his short, dark, curly hair.
Character Backstory
The exact circumstances of the sixth Doctor's regeneration into the seventh aren't well known, though the Rani may have had something to do with it. Either that or he fell off his excercise bike and hit his head too hard when Mel tried to force-feed him carrot juice. He traveled with Melanie Bush for a time, but the orange-haired hamster-like woman left him shortly after he picked up his more long-term companion Dorothy "Ace" McShane. Around the same time, he began pursuing old tasks such as dealing with the Hand of Omega he'd left behind on Earth and blowing up Daleks, giving the Gods of Ragnarok what-for, keeping the Silver Nemesis out of cyberman hands, dealing with Fenric and his Wolves, and just for kicks, tormenting his companion Ace with haunted houses that aren't actually haunted but rather possessed by aliens who've gone a bit batty in the head.
Character Personality
Eccentric to the extreme, his personality runs from deadly serious to absolutely silly depending on his mood, and often at odds to the situation around him. Don't be fooled by his sometimes clownish exterior though - being the first truly proactive incarnation of the Doctor, he always knows more than he lets on and isn't above a bit of deception to attain the outcome he desires. He is not completely unsympathetic though, he cares deeply about his companions and about seeing that the universe is protected from evil. He just knows that sometimes you have to crack a few eggs to make an omelete.
