  • Pikachu
    Image:Pikachu.png
    • Pikachu (ピカチュウ, Pikachū) Pikachu are mouse Pokémon that possess short yellow fur with brown markings covering their backs and parts of their tails. They have black-tipped pointy ears and red circles on their cheeks, which contain electrical sacs. Their tails are shaped in form of a lightning bolt. In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, gender differences were introduced for some Pokémon. For Pikachu, the females now have a heart-like shape at end of their tails.

Pikachu often forage for berries[4][5] Instead of climbing trees, they use small electrical bolts to release the berries from the tree, roasting them at the same time. They store electricity in their cheeks, and discharge them in sparks, bolts or other forms of electricity. An inability to discharge electricity in this last way, as in the presence of strong magnetic field, causes an illness with flu-like symptoms.[6] Pikachu gather in areas with high amounts of thunderstorm activity such as power stations.

Pikachu evolve into Raichu via use of a Thunder Stone. However, it is somewhat common for Trainers to choose not to evolve their Pikachu into Raichu. For example, in Pokémon Yellow, Pikachu refuses to evolve as attempting to use a Thunderstone on it makes it cry and refuse. It is numbered as #25 in the National Pokédex. Also, from the second generation of the Pokémon games onward, Pikachu has an evolutionary predecessor, Pichu, which is the pre-evolution of Pikachu and evolves into Pikachu after establishing a friendship with its trainer.

  • Dialga
    Image:Dialga.png
    • Dialga (ディアルガ, Diaruga) is described as an ancient deity of the Sinnoh region with the ability to control time. According to Sinnoh-region mythology, it was created by Arceus, at which point time began to flow.

Dialga is shaped much like a dinosaur with some features of a dragon. It has a long neck, tail and thick set legs with sharp, metal-like claws. It has many silver protrusions resembling spikes along the back of its neck, on its head, on its top rear, and on its chest. Lodged into the chest protrusions is a glowing blue, diamond-like jewel. Running along its body are light blue lines that fluctuate into diamond shapes (the shiny version of Dialga is a torquiose colour). When it is in attack mode, Dialga expands the size of its rear spikes, as seen in its silhouette in the Pokémon tenth movie teaser broadcast in Japan.

Dialga, like Palkia, has a distinctive feature that represents the game in which it is featured: The ornament in the middle of Dialga's chest resembles a diamond (one of the hardest materials known to man) which in turn represents the Diamond version.

  • Grotle
    Image:Grotle.png
    • Grotle (ハヤシガメ, Hayashigame) lives alongside water in forests. During the daytime, it leaves the forests to let the trees on its shell take in sunlight. Its shell is also strengthened by soil. Very slow and gentle, they only battle when needed, and in battle they will fight valiantly for the trainer. These are Pokémon who come to eat the seeds which have already grown into trees. Its main colors are brown and green. It resembles a snapping turtle, Ankylosaurus or Stegosaurus.
