Humans are a species of sentient bipedal beings with bilateral symmetry native to the Jolkein universe. They were usually encountered throughout the universe. They were known to engage in many different pursuits, from politics to bounty hunting. Species that bore structural resemblance to humans were referred to as "humanoids".
Although humans tended to regard their great adaptiveness as a skill, aliens sometimes reproached them for spreading all across the universe, forcing themselves upon ecosystems they did not belong to.

[edit] Oldest humanoids
There was a point in the universe's history that it was home to the oldest known humanoid sentient beings which appeared just 2.7 billion years after the universe was formed. The first humanoids resided in many worlds and developed independently from each other and attained space faring capabilities sometime in their history. Some of them colonized other worlds and seeded far flung galaxies with primitive life. However, an unknown event caused the first humanoids to leave or disappear from the universe about 1.8 billion years ago. Although they are no longer in the universe, the worlds they seeded have given rise to other humanoid civilizations and life flourished since then. Any trace of the oldest humanoids were lost throughout the universe and nothing is found that is directly linked to them. The existence of the oldest humanoids are but speculations and no concrete evidence are present to provide proof of their existence anywhere in the universe.

Once the oldest humanoids disappeared from the universe, the ancient humanoids appeared about 700 million years after. They were the distant descendants of the oldest humanoids and evolved due to the result of seeding of the oldest humanoids throughout the universe. They developed a technologically advanced civilization and also developed space faring capabilities independently from each other. The ancient humanoids are very skilled space faring race and further seeded other distant galaxies with life. The ancient humanoids believed that they were the first to evolve in the universe and has no knowledge of the oldest humanoids as no evidence are currently present to suggest their existence. The ancient humanoids disappeared about 300 million years ago due to an unknown event. A few remnants of the ancient humanoids can be found throughout the universe, although they are very rare and very hard to find. Only a few modern civilization believes in the ancient humanoids due to the scarcity of evidence that suggest their existence.

The current humanoids are the third generation of humanoids to inhabit the universe. The very first of the current humanoids appeared about 15 million years ago but has since died out. A few ancestors of modern humanoids appeared approximately 2 million years ago and are thought to be the descendants of the ancient humanoids and were brought in part due to the seeding of life throughout the universe by the ancient humanoids. The first modern humanoids to reach space faring capabilities developed the technology roughly a million years ago. Most humanoids currently living in the universe has developed independently without intervention from each other. Some of them believed in a race of being that came before them but most believes they are the first. Most of the civilizations of humanoids are unaware of other life in the universe aside from their own.
