The Fjornjot Cloud is an extragalactic stellar cloud located a few light years away, 30 LY, from the Devaq Cluster. This is one of the smallest member of the Atavac group. Due to its small size and the relatively dim stellar members scientist was not able to discover this cloud earlier and only did so recently with the invention of newer long range scanners made by the Javaran Union. It is estimated that the group has a total of 18,000 members in a diameter of 6.3LY, most of which are brown dwarf stars with only a few larger stars mostly of the late M type. Within the 1.5LY radius from the core there are a total of 3,000 stars. With such a very high stellar density, it is common for stars to collide with each other and no planets can be found within this region as the gravitational interaction between the stars are very chaotic that any planet will either be ejected or absorbed by the star. The mean distance between stars in its core is only 0.09LY while in the outer zone the separation is 0.26LY. Most planets can be found in the outer rim as the separation between stars are larger and planets has probabilities to remain in a stable orbit around its star. Out of the 18,000 stars in the cloud, roughly 5,000 of which are suitable enough to host planets. A further 1,000 stars are estimated to be capable of hosting a habitable planet, but only 150 hosts planets within the habitable zone and is inhabited by sapient lifeforms.
