He was born on March 16, 1935 to Hobbes Brown Colton and Mary Stewart Colton in a decent family mansion in Southumberland. His father, Hobbes Colton participated in covert missions in Bulgaria in WWII, after which he was never seen again, leaving COlton with only his mother.
