Grand Apts: Micah Clement

Micah grew up in a small town. The sort of town where everybody knows everybody else's business. His gawky teen years are on display at the local high school, documenting his run as the town's football hero. A bad fall and a wrenched knee ruined that career track, and Micah instead began to focus on his love of food. Not eating, as much as preparing. He hid his secret passion as best he could, but his love of good food led him to be a food critic. He enrolled in culinary school at age 25, and opened his first restaurant at 31. Now 45, he has three locations. His home town location is run by his brother. A cousin manages the Tacoma location, while Micah has settled in Seattle.

Micah is the kind of guy who would sacrifice himself to save someone else. He's been known to pick up the tab for customers in his restaurant. He holds doors for people, and always has a smile for a stranger. He believes in the goodness of others. He rarely has a bad day, and when he does, he tries to make sure no one else ever realises it.

Micah has never been married. Engaged once, in his later 20's while he was in school. But he never made it to the aisle. He realised he was gay, or bi sexual, in his teens. The engagement was more for show, and he decided it wasn't fair to his wife-to-be to go through with it. He has not been linked to anyone publicly since, which does not mean he's not seen anyone. His private life is just that, private.
