Magier Fortis

Magier Fortis is the head of the Mage's Guild and an extremly skilled Mage. He doesn't concentrate on a specific kind of magic like most Mages, but instead practices nearly all he can. For some strange reason he has trouble summoning.

Magier was one of the smartest students in the Guild. He lead nearly every mission and was even asked to teach on certain occaisons.
He was assigned as leader of the group that started to rescue Sabre from Malvado. During this time he was able to combine his wit with his ally's skill to overcome most enemies.
During the climactic battle, Magier's fiancee Caraesoli was murdered by Malvado. His anger caused him to break free from Malvado's restraints and fight to the best of his ability. Unfortunatly not even the use of his forbidden technique could stop the now full powered Malvado. He used the last of his strength to avoid Malvado's finishing blow and to free his friends, at the cost of his right arm.
During the Epilogue Arkhos' son Fredrich builds him an artifical arm that osftens the use of some of his magic.

During the RPG Magier shows himself as calm and wise. He also seems insightful on everything going on. After the Rise of Malvado he shot a bolt of lightning at Malvado's corpse, not convinced he was finished.

- Magier design was based partly on Ishida Uryuu from the anime/manga Bleach.
