  • Guitars: "My trusty Les Paul copy I’ve had since I was 12; the only thing original is the wood. I re-did all the electronics myself, put a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge with a coil splitter switch, and a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the neck. One volume, one tone. I had it re-fretted by Gravity Guitars in St. Louis about a year ago and they do amazing work. Highly recommended. I’m also using a Mexican Fender Tele, also tweaked by me. It’s got three single coils and a five way toggle, but you can’t get the traditional Tele style neck/bridge pickup combo, so I added a switch to dial that in. Also using a Hondo B.C. Rich “Bitch” copy given to me by a friend. It’s really a pretty rad guitar, neck-thru, all kinds of active electronics that I promptly unhooked. Right now, it’s just wired for bridge pickup (Seymour Duncan) with a volume and tone. I use it for the “Z” tuned songs. It gets the job done."
  • Amps: "An incredibly badass, modded Marshall JMP and an Avatar 4x12 with Vintage 30’s."
  • Pedals: "Boss tuner, Boss delay, Boss octave and either a B.K. Butler “Blue Tube” overdrive or a Snarling Dogs overdrive. I’m going to be building an analog compressor, an Octavia, phaser and line boost pedal very soon as well as my own Super Lead style head."
  • Other: Cleartone/Everly strings, yellow Star Picks
