A)Wetlands are the transitional link between the water and the land. Wetlands are characterized by their vegetation. Three types of wetlands are emergent wetlands, shrub wetlands, and forested wetlands.

B)Wetlands protect and improve water quality. They can remove and retain excessive nutrients. They also minimize sediment loads adn absorb chemical and organic pollutants. They also provide habitat for terrestrial and aquatic wildlife.

C)There has been about a 35% loss in the forest Bay area. There is more than 50 major tree species and more than 2,700 different plant species grown in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

D)Forest do many different things here are just a fewprotect water quality, create habitat for fish and wildlife, improve air quality, encourage recreation, and contribute to the economy.

F)If there is no plankton other animals that feed off of them may also become endagered. However, to much plankton can harm the overall health of the Chesapeake Bay.

G)There are always problems with forest disappearing at an alarming rate. This is becoming a major problem due to the fact that other animals and plants live off of the wetlands. If the wetlands disappear so will other species. People should step in and help prevent this from happening. There have been other areas and animals that are no longer around because no one prevented this from happening.
