MattisManzel 14:19, 21 July 2006 (EDT): If that ain't injustice my name is Heinz!
PatrickAnderson 09:45, 24 July 2006 (EDT) As in ketchup? I'm too dumb to get the joke, and it will be non-funny if you explain. Give me a hint; wait, is it the family name of the wife of a Skull&Bones [1] member?
MattisManzel 14:25, 24 July 2006 (EDT): I could have known this is hard to get, sorry. "Wenn ... dann soll ich Heinz heissen" - If ... then I shall be called Heinz. It is a German expression, it's like a bet. "Heinz" (short-form of Heinrich) has been a very common name in Germany, once considered average and mediocre. It isn't anymore nowadays, actually it's rather seldom now. Saying that if something isn't true you shall be called Heinz means you're damn sure about something and even would take up with the evil witch or whatever unnamed (and imagined, in this case) power behind, that - with a snip of a finger - could turn your name into Heinz. Apologies to all the Heinz's around. No Skull&Bones, no Bilderbergers [2], nothing. Just plain Heinz.
