[edit] History

The 52nd Tactical Fighter Squadron 'Rot' of the Belkan Air Force 2nd Air Division is famous within the Belkan Air Force. The pilots within this elite unit were thought to be the best pilots the Belkan Air Force had at the time. They commonly fought with an immense sense of pride for their homeland, Belka.

Despite being a newer unit which had not seen any action before the Belkan War, the Rot Squadron opened it's kill score during the first months of the Belkan War with great successes. The Rot Squadron was primarily centered around their flight leader Detlef Fleisher who was commonly viewed as the "Poster Boy" of the Belkan Air Force.

In March, during the Belkan War, the Rot Squadron was scrambled to engage two aircraft from the Ustian Air Force's 6th Air Division, which were attacking Belkan Air Force units over Airspace B7R. The Rot Squadron went into combat and were met with stiff resistance from the two Ustian Fighters. Combat ended with all four of the Rot aircraft being shot down.
