The Emmerian Air Force's 8th Air Wing, 28th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Garuda" is featured in Ace Combat 06: Fires of Liberation. They hail from Gracemeria Air Base and are a part of the capital defense forces. The squadron is quickly formed at the start of the Emmeria-Estovakian War and consists of two pilots.

Nationality: Emmerian
Marcus Lampart, callsign Garuda 2, is pilot of 8th Air Wing, the air defense of Gracemeria, and is second-in-command of well-known Emmerian Garuda Squadron. In the invasion of Gracemeria, he was suddenly assigned as Garuda 2 while Emmerian Air Force was commencing emergency sortie. He's been known to fly on Talisman's wing through many dangerous missions the unit had participated in.
He put big much concern over Gracemeria, a place in which his family lived peacefully. He was a good father of his family before the first invasion broke out. But then, he eventually found out that his wife and daughter were killed during the invasion.
Along with Talisman, he became one of important roles to take Gracemeria back, to stop Estovakia's power over Emmeria. Right before completely taking Estovakia down, he got a serious injury in his final mission on Estovakia land while encountering Chandelier. In peacetime, he seemed to use wheelchair caused by the accident.
