STORY

in the mid 21st century in the dense forest of Michigan, the open Sahara of Africa, and the frozen north of Siberia three large chunks of an highly advanced craft and its cargo payload crashed into the ground. The Cargo of this ship was scattered across the world. NATO and The Warsaw Pact nations along with several other smaller players fought a series of bloody skirmishes for control of the items. These battles brought many citizens of the more "civilized" nations to grow disgusted or disillusioned with their respective governments. Like the German Hessians, the Swiss Guard and the Infamous 'Blackwater' warriors to fight in your stead were now for sale.

The technology salvaged proved to be the final piece of the power supply puzzle that had plagued powered armor since its initial stages.

the first generation mobile powered armor vehicles were large, slow, and were wheeled, tracked or quad legged.

When the Ship crashed and its Cargo Containers scattered across the world probes and self-replicating Nanobots were spread across the planet. These nanobots began infecting... pretty much anything.

---SPIRITS--- Spirits are any non-human that has been infected with nanobots. They can look normal or be vastly different. Common traits for spirits to develop are physical bodies and speech, though other mutations may occur. Spirits may also develop higher levels of intelligence. Animal spirits are exactly that, animals that have been infected with nanobots. Most animal spirits are content to mind their own business. Nature spirits are objects that have been infected such are trees, rocks, or water. Anything normally associated with the natural world (aside from animals) falls into this category. Urban spirits are objects commonly associated with humanity. Examples are metal, computers, or, as Olive in Seth/Sara's character request above, oil. Spirits are usually seen as a commodity, and various organizations attempt to capture and control them. Some are easily influenced by appealing to their interests. For instance, an animal spirit may be convinced to work for a mercenary group with the promise of being fed and getting attention. Forcing control on spirits in manners lie brainwashing are not advisable.

---PSYCHICS--- Psychics are humans that have managed to control the nanobots instead of being taken over by them. As of yet, there is no report of a human spirit. Psychics have powers of varying degrees, most of the overt abilities granting them their name. Psychics can have powers that are low-key such as enhanced reflexes or senses, or they may be overt, like telekinesis or telepathy. The occurrence of psychics is not common. Around 1 out of every 20,000 people are psychic. Psychics don't have to be born infected either. Some may not gain any abilities until late in life.

---MIKO--- Miko are very powerful psychics. Unlike normal psychics, Miko are extremely uncommon, most people are lucky to even hear of one outside of urban legends. A Miko has a very unique gift, being able to control other creatures (usually spirits). For this ability they are respected and feared. One story tells of a Miko that enslaved an entire city, humans and spirits, and made it to disappear. Most Miko are female, hence the name sticking.

For Sanity and Balance Purposes most of these facts have a strong limit cap and control system...... ie. a Miko would treated as a Boss, or a player's abilities wouldn't really factor into combat.

MALON:

Size: Anywhere from, Approxoimately the Size of a 2 lane wide tractor/trailor, to As long as 2 tractor/trailers end to end, and as wide as a 3 lane road. and anywhere from 8 to 16 meters tall. not including armament and additional equipment.

Purpose: Best described as a highly customizable tank. from chassis to weapons to equipment, down to the very control system used, anything can be changed as mission and pilot dictates.

Controls: the most basic controls are purely manual and highly technical, often requiring an entire year to become certified in their use. How ever they can be fitted with a multitude of additional control systems to provide the pilot with ease of use. Common additions include the Mental External Link Interface [MELI], which allows the pilot the greatly increase their reaction time and reduce their targeting time with no loss of accuracy. allows for threat awareness and system alarms to become instictive.

TURK:

Size: Approximately 10 meters tall, and with its arms at its side 2.5 meters wide.

Purpose: Anti-Air and Light armor, can also be called upon to act as combat engineers

Controls: It is controlled by a Neuro-Mesh Interface Suit [NMIS], it detects and amplifies muscle movements while the wearer is suspeneded inside the cockpit. the majority of non-movement commands are voice actived, such as firing shoulder weapons or using the communications gear.

Unique Weapons and Abilities:

-VLAD- [Versatile Lightweight Armor Destroyer] A Pneumatic Spike that can punch through a layer of reinforced MALON grade armor. -

ISHIM:

Size: 2 meters tall, .75m wide. With all flaps closed and the engine powered down its no bigger then a large person. when powered up and in flight its has a 3 meter wingspan.

Purpose: Aerial Scout and Air superiority fighter, can be called upon to provide anti-armor fire support.

Controls: Controled by the infamous Cerebral Projection Assistant [CPA], (often refered to by its users as the "Certified Pain in the A**" because of the fact that one has to undergo brain surgery and spend 6 months in physical therapy to recover from the surgery in which a data link socket and additional wiring has been installed into their skull) The [CPA] allows the used to control the suit like it was their own body, because it is the only way to control the suit the weapon systems are limited by the brain's ability to handle only so many appendages.

Unique Weapons and Abilities:

-SARA Missile Pack- [Supersonic Anti-Reactive Armor] the SARA is a swarm capable triple warhead Missile specificly designed to penetrate and neutralize MALON class Armored Vehciles. The first warhead will pre-detonate any Explosive Reactive Armor. The second warhead utilizes the Monroe Effect to create a liquid copper 'bullet' to punch through a layer of armor. and finally the thrid warhead attempt to inject, via the hole created by the first two warheads, a white phosphorus and Napalm blend into the engine compartment of the vehicle. Most of the pilots, ot of proffessional courtesy will aim for the engine so as not to kill the other pilot. others will aim directly for the cockpit in order to kill the pilot.

-Flight-

It uses a compact VTOL system to allow the suit to go airborne.

With the military drawn down after the war she was one of the thousands of military pilots to be released from thier service contracts. She then joined up with BWA and underwent the surgery required to have the CPA interface installed and she has been active for a few years now.
