Early DXX Career

Well Matt Hardy came to DXX and he was originally drafted to the Mayhem Brand and was under the Management of Carari Grey. In his first few matches on Mayhem he went for a 4-4 streak. He lost on his debut to Blake Lioncash. He then picked up wins against Ted DiBiase Jr. and Bobby Marshall. He then picked up a couple more losses.

Moving over to Massacre

On Massacre Matt had his debut Match against the high flying Greg Parker. This match was taken to the absolute limit with Matt managing to pick up the win. He was then added to the following PPV to take on Chris O'Leary in a Steel cage match. Once again it looked like Matt was about to lose when he pulled out a Massive side effect from the top ropes to pick up the win. He was went on to go 11-0 and is flying high with wins against Shad Moss twice Tristagi twice Kenny Wallace one and Nick Awesome. One of those wins against Shad Moss was for the Hardcore Title on a Massacre episode. Mick Foley had interfered in the match and Matt was able to pick up the win and he still holds the title to this day. Then two weeks before Facing Extinction Matt was involved in a tournament to find out who will become the new DXX World Champion. Matt's opponent was the Intercontinental Champion Kenny Wallace. This was going to be a tough test for Matt as this was a champion Vs Champion match. Plus Kenny had been around DXX longer. Matt was able to pick up a convincing win. With this it set up a match at Facing Extinction against two men he had faced in the past. Shad Moss and Tristagi. This match was somewhat controversial as Tristagi thought he had pinned Matt Hardy only for Matt to counter and roll up Tristagi. Matt is now a duel title holder on the Massacre brand holding both the Hardcore and DXX World Title.

However since holding the DXX title he lost in tag team action this week and the streak ended when Tristagi threw him into the ring and Chris O'Leary took advantage of him and laid him out for the win. Since that loss Matt has been seen to have a deteriorating Mental health and this past week was seen entering hospital on a stretcher.
