Career

DXX

RAW

JBL debuted in April 2007 on DXX's RAW brand and immediately started to forge a decent career for himself. The problems he caused behind the scenes were immediately apparent however, with him getting angry at anyone in earshot whenever he lost a match or a decision went against him. The problems reached their peak in the Summer of 2007 when he believed he should have been granted a match for the DXX Intercontinental Championship instead of Assassin (despite doing very little to earn one at the time), and ultimately Assassin went on to win the title while he in fact won the DXX Televsion Championship on the same show. For whatever reason JBL complained about this so much Assassin had no choice but to defend and the title the very next night, after which rumours began that the former champion was asked to throw the match to keep Layfield happy. During his time on RAW he also briefly held the Tag Team Championships with Ace, but not before losing both titles and getting upset about it once again.

Mayhem and Firing

When DXX was split into two brands (Friday Night Mayhem and Monday Night Massacre) in late 2007 JBL was immediately drafted to Mayhem. He became frustrated about not being the focal point of General Manager Carari Grey's attention and eventually would up being traded to Massacre where things didn't improve. After several failed title shots and a constant demand for more JBL was deemed surplus to requirements on either show and fired in February 2008.

Return

In early 2009, Danny Jeremiah who was acting as Mayhem's General Manager had enough of Kevin Nash's ways of ruling security a causesing uproar due to the change of mamagement he had experiened. At Dead On Arrival, Bradshaw returned as Justin Bradshaw a similiar gimmick to his APA days, Jeremiah referred to him as 'The Hawk' that Nash would be facing in a Loser Leaves Town Match. Thanks to Nash's so-called friend Leila Darcie's interference, Bradhsaw won and took over the role.
