The first church was built in 1804 and paid for by Jacob Hansler of Weston Green. He also paid for the preachers. The church was refaced in Victorian Gothic in 1859. The present church was built alongside in 1899. In 1963 the old church and caretaker's cottage were demolished and the church hall built.
