Auron: Legendary Guardian
Auron is from Final Fantasy X, released by Square-Enix (then Squaresoft). He is pre-game, fresh from Zanarkand, and guardian to Tidus. Like his canon counterpart, he is a fomer monk of Yevon who became a guardian to High Summoner Braska, along with Jecht, Tidus's father. He died in Zanarkand, at the hands of Lady Yunalesca, and was the one who set the current happenings in Spira into motion. However, unlike his canon counterpart, he has an open distaste for Yevon, and has gone so far as to openly debate it.

Auron teaches Heavy Blades, in the Physical Education department at Desai University, and under his tutalege are such students as Dante, Riku, and Ichigo. He also is acting somewhat as a mentor and guide to Tidus, though, unfortunately, has not yet had the chance to approach Yuna to offer his services as her guardian.
