David's journal is an enchanted item located in the library of Robert's sanctum. Originally the journal of David Eisenguard, the journal exhibited the odd behavior of "speaking" to Robert in the form of addressed entries from his uncle, writing them out upon the blank pages for him to see. Once done, the book also began writing itself from Robert's viewpoint, chronicling his exploits.
