OOC- I'm wondering if there's anything that I strayed too far away from with steampunk? I'm still kinda new to this and some things I kind of just fell back on the 'norm' for scifi, not quite knowing what else to do. Also, I'm still struggling with the names, as you might have noticed.

It looks pretty good. A little "Star Trek"-y, but we'll roll with it. When writing steampunk, try to fall back on the mechanical as much as possible. For example, in the section on scanners I might have talked about how a revolution in lens design allowed for some cutting-edge optics when building the planetary survey telescopes. Just a suggestion; I don't want to tell you how to write your article! If you do feel like changing anything, feel free to edit as long as it doesn't affect any of the phantoms that people later fill in. -Librarian Tacitus XI 09:36, 9 February 2009 (PST)
