You go a long way before he starts chasing you.

Status: Naked & Bound & Running for your Life

You run for a long time, changing direction whenever you encounter an obstacle, or whenever you think the creep is behind you, but eventually you have to stop. You sink to your knees, then bend over, gasping for breath. Eventually, you look around.

All you see is forest. You have no idea where the pond is, and you aren't certain you want to go back there anyway; for all you know the creep is still there, and if he isn't, he won't have a hard time finding you there.

The problem is that you have no idea where you are. You can't be too far from your home, but you have no idea where it is. During your panicked escape from the clutches of the creep, you ran wherever you could, not worrying about where you were going. It might have helped you to get away from the creep, but now it means you are lost. You have no idea which direction you have to go, or how far, to get back home, or even to get to somewhere where you can find help.

At least, as far as you can see, you can't see the creep. However, you can't see that far. You can't hear him, either; the only thing you can really hear is the sound of your breathing.

To your right and just behind you is a tree. You step to your right until the tree is directly behind you, then you back up until you are standing directly against it. You then sit down, keeping your back to the tree. From this position, you spend some time struggling with your bonds.

Hours pass before you give up your struggles. By now, your arms are sore, your hands are numb, you are covered in sweat, dirt and small twigs, and you are frantic. You are sobbing a little.

You stand up and start walking. You want to keep moving, as you don't want the creep to find you, and you might find some help if you do. As you walk, you try to think of a way to get the rope off your arms, or the gag out of your mouth, or both. You can't really think of many good ideas, but you decide to keep trying. There must be something you can use out here to get free, and you just aren't seeing it.

Before you know it, it's nightfall. You walk until it is almost too dark to walk any further. With the last of the light you have, you hide behind a large tree, as you did before, once again sliding into a sitting position. You look around, but can't see anything in the dark. You listen, but hear only the sounds of your own breathing, as before, plus the normal noises of a forest.

You lean your head back against the tree trunk, and close your eyes. You can feel the rough bark of the trunk, rubbing against your bare back, butt and bound arms, and your feet are full of small twigs and stones. You spend some more time struggling with your bonds, then spend some time rubbing them against the tree trunk. Neither works, however.

You are tense, wide-awake. You know you aren't going to sleep, and you don't care. You wrack your brains, trying to figure out how to get out of this mess. No ideas come to mind, at least no ideas that don't rely on you not being bound, gagged, and defenseless. You hope things will change tomorrow.
