Pokemon: Walk Towards Viridian City

You were walking towards Viridian City thinking about your wild Pokemon fight... Should you have caught Pidgey, then it could have evolved into Pidgeotto and Pidgeot, one of the good flying types. Was your decision correct?
Anyways, it wasn't of any use now as you defeated that Pidgey. You forgot about it and continued walking.
"Hey you! Please help me!", you heard the voice and looked around.
"Here!", a voice yelled behind the bushes. You saw the face of a man who was wearing a blue cap with words 'Pkmn Mart'. He looked scared.
You walked into the bushes to see what was going on. Behind the bushes, you saw two Rattatas trying to trouble a man. They had their grip on the man's bag and were trying to snatch it.
"Please help me, young boy. This bag has important items in it. I can't just let it go!", said the man who was dressed in a nice baggy blue pants and a light blue t-shirt.
"I will reward you with a gift if you scare this Rattatas away! Please, help me!"
