You step through the portal marked "Mass Effect" and feel a strange falling sensation as the world around you goes black. Suddenly, your body comes to a complete stop and you slowly open your eyes. You observe your surroundings to be the one and only captains quarters of the SSV Normandy SR2! Your heart and mind races with a mixture of excitement and curiosity.
