Screw that noise, you think. I'm having a good time as Ashley, why mess with what's working? You hold Kerri's hand and kiss her cheek, and the other girls giggle. Kerri blushes prettily and smiles.

You coast through the day happily, thinking about Kerri, and meet her as soon as classes get out. You take her to the local hang-out and order ice cream sodas. It seems like half the school is watching, but Kerri doesn't seem fazed in the least. "I'm having a wonderful time, Ashley," she says with a smile.

"So am I," you purr, leaning over to kiss her neck.

Good riddance to bad rubbish, comes a very angry voice in your head. I normally don't even give a warning, and I certainly will not tolerate being ignored. Your powers vanish like smoke in a windstorm, trapping you in Ashley's body.
