D&D: About what he said last, how does them paying for services prove they have the money for a much larger job?

From Create Your Own Story

"I would imagine the prices for sex here and far cheaper than a job," you start, "How does it ensure they can pay?"

The lady behind you answers, "It acts as a deposit. For a few silver comes a cheap fuck and a pocket or two picked. As the clients become richer, they pay more for more complex jobs and more complex sex."

The man by the desk starts rummaging under the desk, before popping back up with a sheet of paper. "Can you read?" You nod, Lommy was good at educating you. He hands you the paper. "Here's the contract we would like you to sign."

You start reading it. Although it is fairly lengthy, it can be summarised as such:

  - Theives working here must work as Prostitutes too
  - Thieves working here must be already proficient in thievery, though not sex
  - Thieves must be willing to accommodate any and every sexual fetish, BDSM and otherwise
  - 50% of money (and all funding) must be paid back to the house for all jobs
  - Thieves may choose their contracts. Lower tier contracts will require simple sex and thievery, while higher tier jobs will require far less common acts
  - Thieves are under the orders of The Mistress, though they may refuse and quit at any time

You finish reading and lower the paper, giving the elf a hard stare. "What'll it be?" he asks.

D&D: You've been around the block a few times, but you aren't going to have sex for a job. Leave and head back to Lommy's

D&D: Why not, the contract says you can quit at any time. Sign the contract

D&D: Is there actually a downside to this job? Sign the contract!
