There just wasn't enough time to do it all! Instead, Chelsie headed to her hallway locker and unpacked the contents of her bag, except for the books needed for her first class - math. Then, feeling a little silly dressed in so little, she headed to the class and took her usual seat at the back of the class. Within a few moments the class was filled with her fellow students, although some of them cast confused glances towards her as if wondering why she was wearing a jacket indoors.
"If only they knew." the voice purred.
Chelsie resolutely ignored it, and set about preparing her notebook and pens. As the bell rang for class the math teacher, Mrs Halewood, stepped into the room and took up her position at the front of the class. When she saw Chelsie, however, her brows furrowed in confusion.
"Uh, Chelsie, you're not allowed to wear jackets in class." she admonished.
"I'm sorry Mrs Halewood, but I'm feeling cold. Can I keep it on, just this once?"
"Well..."
