Black and White Backpack

From Create Your Own Story

You groggily blink your eyes, hazy strips of sunlight filtering in through the blinds over the dirty window on the east side of the room. It takes a few minutes for your eyes to adjust to the brightness of the light in contrast to the black of your previously closed lids.

In addition to your newly reacquired vision, other senses start to blur into precision, such as the rough cloth sheets against your limbs, or the soft rustle of tree leaves nudging up against the glass panes of the window, or the black and white backpack slowly gnawing at your chin.
